I’m a communications and PR specialist for people who want to make an impact. I love nothing more than unearthing the amazing stories which make your business or service totally unique. It’s often those hidden gems which shine the brightest!

The biggest thing that 20 years in the industry has taught me, is the value of relationships. To create truly exceptional communications you need to be crystal clear on your audience and what makes them tick – so that you can offer them what they need or desire. No pushy sales techniques. No churn of meaningless words. Just an authentic connection with the people who matter most. That way, you can build a mind-blowingly brilliant reputation and life-long customers.

It’s an approach I’ve developed since starting my career in magazine publishing, working in editorial and marketing teams for some of the UK’s leading magazine brands at Time Inc. Since then, I’ve led high-profile campaigns for large local authorities, helped start-ups to get off the ground and ambitious businesses to grow. It’s an eclectic mix, but there is one thing that unites them all – passionate people who have a strong sense of purpose.

I’m fortunate to work with incredible clients across the private, public and charity sectors. And I’m well connected to local, trade and national media journalists. I’ve gained extensive media coverage for a vast array of subjects, from gritting lorries to leading female entrepreneurs – with front-page newspaper articles, in-depth magazine features, online exposure, and radio and TV interviews.

So, if you want to show up in the right places, I’d love to hear from you.

How I work

I like to dive deep into a business and get to know clients inside-out. Combining strategic planning, creative thinking, and practical action, I work at the heart of your business so everything feels authentic and natural. I deliver one-off projects such as strategies, PR launches and website copy, right through to long-term communications campaigns, and regular content for blogs, newsletters and articles.

Life beyond business

I work from home in Hertfordshire, running my business alongside day-to-day family life and as many pets as I can get away with. I spend any spare time trying to master the art of dressage, competing at local and regional level. While I seem to spend most of my time mucking out, it’s a great opportunity to think about the day ahead. Plus, I’ve had some of my best ideas while shoveling shavings!
